  • Bluetooth wireless technology is a short-range radio frequency technology that is susceptible to interference from other electronic devices in the surrounding environment.
  • Ensure that your headset and the device are paired properly, and they are no more than 10 metres apart and there are no other objects (walls, doors, etc) in between.
 
Q : What are the mobile handsets that will work with my i.Tech Bluetooth mono headset?

  • Except for the Clip II mini that supports the Handsfree profile only, all other mono headsets support both Headset and Handsfree profiles.
 
Q : How can I tell that my mobile handset has Bluetooth? If my mobile handset doesn't have Bluetooth, does i.Tech have any installation driver for it?
A : Bluetooth wireless technology is embedded in mobile handsets during the manufacturing process. Please check with your mobile handset manufacturers.
 
Q : I am having trouble pairing my i.Tech Bluetooth mono headset with my mobile handset.
A :
  • Please refer to the headset's compatibility list which is located on the product profile page under the 'Products' section of this website. Make sure that your mobile handset is compatible with the headset.
  • Ensure the pairing mode is activated, i.e. the headset's status indicator is flashing blue and red intermittently when pairing with a Bluetooth mobile handset.
  • Ensure that you have followed the proper pairing procedure featured in the headset user guide. The user guide is also available online on the product profile page. Please go to the 'Products' section of this website.
  • Ensure that you have entered the correct pairing code when connecting your devices. The pairing code for all i.Tech Bluetooth mono headsets is '0000'.
  • Or, reset both the mobile handset and the headset in accordance with the instructions described in the respective user guide and pair them once again.
 
Q : My mobile handset is successfully paired with the headset, however, I still can't make and receive calls from the headset.

Q : I have lost the charger. Where can I buy one?
A : All accessories are included together as one product package therefore accessories are not available for sale separately.
 
Q : Where can I buy a car charger for my i.Tech Bluetooth mono headset?
A : We are sorry that there is no car charger for this product. It normally takes about three hours to fully charge the headset, and the fully charged headset will give you on average four hours' talk time which should be sufficient for normal use. Please check the product's specifications in the 'Products' section of this website to learn about your headset's talk and standby time.
 
Q : My i.Tech Bluetooth mono headset has been charging for hours but the status indicator light is still red. What should I do?
A :
  • Unplug the charger cable of your headset from the mains and leave the headset on until the battery is exhausted. Then recharge the headset again by plugging it back to the mains.
  • On rare occasions, the headset could be fully charged but the status indicator light remains red. Just use your headset as usual.
 
Q : What if the headset cannot be turned off and the status indicator remains on?
A : Please plug in the charger to recharge the headset for two seconds and then unplug, the headset is now turned off.
 
Q : If I wear the i.Tech Bluetooth mono headset on my shirt, or wearing the Arrow on my ear, how does anyone on the other end of the line hear me talking?
A :
  • All the i.Tech Bluetooth headsets have small yet powerful microphones incorporated into the design of the headsets.
  • To ensure the person on the other end of the line can hear you clearly, and you can hear them as well, you can turn up the volume by pressing the volume key which is located on the main body of the headset. (Please see your headset's user guide for product features).
