Q :
Can I use solar energy for SolarVoice 908 first time charging ?
A :
  • First time charging must use the provided USB cable/ travel adapter. This helps improve battery efficiency.

Q :
Why can’t I get my SolarVoice 908 to charge from sunlight?
A : There may be a number of reasons:
  • SolarVoice headset needs to be placed under direct sunlight. Clouds, smog, tinted window or shadows will impede the sunlight from charging the solar panel.
  • SolarVoice headset battery is totally drained or idle. It needs a USB cable / travel adapter to charge and store up some power before it can charge under the sun again.

Q :
How long will it take to fully charge SolarVoice 908 under the sun ?
A :
  • It will take around 15 hours for fully charge if it is under optimum sunlight and doesn’t have anything blocking the sun. We recommend users use the provided USB cable/ travel adapter to fully charge the headset when need.

Q :
How do I know it is solar charging ?
A :
  • When SolarVoice is solar charging, the charging indicator light will flash green.

Q :
How does solar energy provide infinite standby time for SolarVoice ?
A :
  • When SolarVoice is in standby mode, the solar power being absorbed into the headset is greater than the power being used.

Q :
Why I put SolarVoice 908 on the dash board in my car and with abundant sun light but not charging very well in some cases ?
A :
  • Ensure the car windshield is always clear (no UV coating)
  • The car windshield will downgrade the charging efficiency a bit in somehow as it is not facing directly under sun.

Q :
Is the cradle for charging the headset ?
A :
  • No, this is not a charging cradle. It is designed to position SolarVoice to directly face the sun for solar charging. It can be used on your desktop or in your car for solar charging.

Q :
Is any special maintenance required for SolarVoice ?
A :
  • Just like a regular headset, keep the surface clean, and keep it in a dry area.

Q :
